Reader’s notes

p. 155. Two printed columns: the stub ("Stage") and "Median days" (printed on two lines, joined). The page is a clean vector/digital-era print and every figure is legible. Structure kept as printed: the Roman numerals I. and II. sit at a shallower indent than the A./B./C. and numbered lines, but all of them belong to the single stub column. Section and heading lines that carry no figure ("I. Unfair labor practice cases:", both "A. Major stages completed—" lines, the B./C. age-of-cases headings under I, the B heading under II, and "6. Filing of petition to-") are given with an empty value cell. The one exception is "C. Age of cases pending Regional Director's decision, September 30, 2009" under II, which is itself a data line and carries 103. "6. Filing of petition to-" is printed with a trailing hyphen because it reads into its own sub-items a. and b.; it is not a word broken at a line end, so the hyphen is retained and the line is kept as its own row. Note that several labels repeat verbatim between sections (e.g. "2. From originating document" and "3. From assignment" appear under both I.C and II.B); they are distinct rows with different values. Apostrophe glyphs are inconsistent in the original: most possessives use a curly apostrophe, while "B. Age of cases pending administrative law judge's decision" uses a straight one. All have been written with the plain ASCII apostrophe. The footnote marker on "4. Close of pre-election hearing to Board's decision issued" is a raised 1 printed immediately after "issued" and before the leader dots; it is recorded as ^1 and is not part of the value 123.
