The division subtotal lines (New England, Pacific, South Atlantic) are printed indented and set off by double rules; New England's and Pacific's component states begin on the preceding page, so their subtotals exceed the sum of the state rows shown here. All internal arithmetic that can be checked within this crop (union subtotals, union + no-union = total valid votes, won + no-representative = total elections, and the South Atlantic column sums) balances as transcribed. One value worth flagging as unusual but clearly printed: West Virginia, "Eligible employees in units choosing representation" = 46 (against 595 eligible to vote); it is confirmed by the South Atlantic column total of 11,001. The dash in "AFL–CIO" is printed as an en dash.

Column headings are printed on this page and are transcribed as shown. "AFL–CIO" is set with an en dash in the heading. All cells are legible and no cross-checkable printed total appeared inconsistent (e.g., Texas 503 + 654 + 6 = 1,163; grand total 10,709 + 24,216 + 3,932 = 38,857). The Arkansas row legitimately shows 0 in the last column (no elections won) despite 50 valid union votes.
