The crop is page 1 of 3 of this table and ends mid-section: the Mountain division block (Arizona through Utah) is cut off after Utah with no division subtotal line on this image, and no footnote text is printed on the crop even though footnote markers 1 (caption, omitted) and 2 (stub heading "Division and State") appear. The subtotal lines (East North Central, East South Central, Island Areas, Middle Atlantic) are printed indented under their member states; indentation was not preserved in the labels. All printed row and column sums check out arithmetically, including Nevada (RC 30 + RM 3 + RD 0 = All R 33), so no misprints were detected. Every cell was legible.

p. 110. This is the middle sheet of a three-page table ("Page 2 of 3"), so it opens mid-list: the first row, Wyoming, is the tail of the Mountain division whose earlier states are on the previous page, and the crop is cut off at the bottom after North Carolina, mid-way through the division that begins with District Of Columbia (its subtotal line falls on the next page). The indented rows Mountain, New England and Pacific are division subtotals, not states; indentation is not preserved in the stub text. Footnote markers 1 (on the caption year) and 2 (on the stub heading "Division and State") are printed on this page, but no footnote text appears beneath the table on this crop, so `footnotes` is empty. Column headings are a three-level stack: a top band of spanner headings, a second band of the C/R subtype codes, and a third band carrying UD, AC and UC under the three rightmost spanners; "Division and State", "All cases" and the three rightmost spanners are tall cells repeated down the levels they span. Every row's components sum to its printed totals and every division subtotal (Mountain, New England, Pacific) equals the sum of its member states on this page, so no misprint is suspected. "District Of Columbia" is transcribed with the capital O as printed.

This crop is the last page of a three-page table, so the body begins mid-division: South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia are the tail of the South Atlantic division whose earlier States appear on the preceding page, and the "South Atlantic" line is that division's subtotal. "West North Central" and "West South Central" are likewise indented subtotal lines, and the final line is the grand total. Three heading levels are printed: a top band ("Unfair labor practice cases" over 8 columns, "Representation cases" over 4), a second level of code headings, and a third level holding only UD, AC and UC under the last three columns. The stub, "All cases", and the three right-hand headings are tall single cells repeated down the levels; the hyphenated headings have been rejoined ("Union deauthor-/ization cases", "Amend-/ment of certifica-/tion cases", "Unit clari-/fication cases"). All cells are crisply printed and legible; no doubtful digits. Every printed figure is internally consistent as a check: in each row All cases = All C + All R + UD + AC + UC and All C = CA+CB+CC+CD+CE+CG+CP, All R = RC+RM+RD, and each subtotal line equals the sum of the State rows above it (the South Atlantic subtotal, of course, also includes the States on the previous page).
