Twelve columns: stub, "Total valid votes cast", then five columns each under "Valid votes cast in elections won" and "Valid votes cast in elections lost" (Total / AFL–CIO unions / Other national unions / Other local unions, all under a spanning "Votes for unions", plus "Total votes for no union"). "Total valid votes cast" and the two "Total votes for no union" headings are tall headings repeated down the levels they span. Dash cells: the table prints a short dash ("--") in many cells, distinct from a printed "0", which also occurs. Following the convention that a dash is an empty cell, every "--" is transcribed as "" and every printed "0" is kept as "0"; the distinction between the two is therefore not preserved in the grid. The crop ends in the middle of panel B — the last transcribed row is "AFL–CIO v. Local" of section B, and the table continues (the caption reads "Page 1 of 2"). No footnote block is visible on this crop; the caption's footnote marker 1 is on the excluded caption line. Row labels "AFL–CIO v. AFL–CIO v. Local v. Local" and "National v. National v. National v. National" were printed with trailing leader dots / wrapped onto a second line and have been joined. Possible reading ambiguity: in section B the row "Local v. Local" shows 0 (not a dash) in the won "AFL–CIO unions" and "Other national unions" columns and dashes in the last four cells of the elections-lost half, whereas the corresponding section A row has the opposite pattern (dashes in the won columns, 0s in the lost columns). Both readings are internally consistent with the row totals (59 + 1 + 0 = 60), so the cells were transcribed as seen. All column and row totals I could cross-check add correctly (e.g. 98,617 + 9,527 + 694 = 108,838; 39,554 + 7,684 + 317 = 47,555); no arithmetic discrepancies found.

The short double-hyphen "--" is a distinct printed entry in this table (it co-occurs with printed zeros in the same columns), so it is transcribed as printed rather than as an empty cell; it is not a long dash rule. Printed without digit-grouping commas, transcribed as printed: "7052" in Total RC elections / elections lost – Other national unions; "1169" in three RD rows (Other national unions, 1-union elections, Total RD elections) in the elections-lost Other national unions column. Note the same figure appears as "1,169" with a comma in the elections-lost Total column of the RD "Other national unions" row, so the missing commas look like typesetting slips in the source. All subtotals, section totals and cross-row sums in the crop add correctly as transcribed. No footnote text is printed below the table on this page; the caption carries a raised "1" but the caption and its note are not part of the grid.
