Reader’s notes
p. 112. Nine printed columns: the stub plus four two-column spanner groups (Total, By employer, By union, By both parties), each with Number and "Percent by type". The spanner "By both parties" carries a raised 2 footnote marker. All rows are fully legible and the arithmetic is internally consistent (e.g. 56+89+2=147; the five election-type rows sum to the "All representation elections" line in every column), so no misprints are suspected. Two rows with zero objections — "Expedited elections" and "Board-directed elections" — print 0.0 rather than 100.0 in the Total "Percent by type" column; this is as printed, not a transcription slip. Not transcribed, per instructions: the caption "Table 11C.—Objections Filed in Representation Cases Closed, by Party Filing, Fiscal Year 2008" with its raised 1 marker (to which footnote 1 refers).
