The group heading is printed with two spaced hyphens, "Total - - all courts"; it is transcribed as printed. In the Total group the sub-headings read "Upholding Board position" / "Contrary to Board position" with a lowercase "position", while the appeals, district and bankruptcy groups capitalize "Position"; in the State Courts group the middle sub-heading is only "Upholding Board" (no "Position"), as printed. Suspected misprints, transcribed exactly as printed and not corrected: - Row "To compel NLRB to:", Total - - all courts / Upholding Board position: printed 9, although the column's "Number Decided" is 7 and the three sub-rows (Issue complaint 5, Respond to discovery 0, Issue decision or take specific action 1) sum to 6. Reads as 2 in both passes. - Row "Totals – all types": the Total "Number Decided" 13 does not equal the sum of its components as printed in several places (e.g. the appeals/district/bankruptcy columns), consistent with the two anomalies above. Row labels "To review:", "To restrain NLRB from:" and "To compel NLRB to:" are indented sub-headings that nevertheless carry values, so they are transcribed as data rows. "Totals – all types" is printed with a single dash of uncertain type (en dash or a closed-up double hyphen matching the "- -" in the column heading); an en dash is used here. The apostrophe in "Bd's" is a typographic right quote in the original and has been written as a plain apostrophe.
