Reader’s notes
p. 183. The page prints this table as two stacked panels with the same ten-column layout but two separately printed heading blocks, so the panels are transcribed one under the other with the heading given once. Panel 1 (one row, "Under Sec. 10(e) total") uses the heading block transcribed in header_rows, with "Appellate Court" in columns 3, 4 and 10. Panel 2 (the 10(j) and 10(l) rows) repeats the identical heading block but with "District Court" in those three columns: "Pending in District Court Oct. 01, 2006", "Filed in District Court fiscal year 2007^1" (this is the only cell carrying the raised footnote marker 1), and "Pending in District Court Sept. 30, 2007"; its first two heading levels are otherwise word-for-word the same ("Total proceedings", "Injunction proceedings", "Total dispositions", "Disposition of injunctions", "Granted", "Denied", "Settled", "Withdrawn"). The stub heading is blank in both blocks. The "Total proceedings" column (column 2) is printed with a value only in the 10(e) row; it is blank for every row of the second panel, so those cells are "". All other values sit under the columns shown. Possible misprint in the source: footnote 1 refers to cases "pending on October 1, 2005", while the column it marks and the facing column heading both read "Oct. 01, 2006"; transcribed as printed. The bottom rule of the second panel sits very close to the lower edge of the crop; the row "8(b)(7)(C)" appears to be the last body row, but a further row immediately below it could have been lost to the crop.
