The crop cuts the table off mid-way: the last printed line is Connecticut, the first state of the New England division, whose division subtotal and the remaining divisions continue on the following page. No footnote text is printed on this crop, although the stub heading carries a raised "1" marker ("Division and State^1"); the footnote itself must be on the continuation page or elsewhere. Column structure: 15 columns. Two spanner headings sit over groups of four — "Number of elections in which representation rights were won by unions" over columns 3-6 (Total, AFL-CIO unions, Other national unions, Other local unions) and "Valid votes cast for unions" over columns 10-13 (same four sub-headings). The remaining headings are tall single-cell headings spanning both levels and are repeated in each level. Several headings are hyphen-broken in the original ("Total elec-tions", "no rep-resenta-tive was chosen", "Number of em-ployees eligible to vote", "Eligible employ-ees in units choos-ing rep-resentati on") and have been rejoined. Digit-grouping commas are printed inconsistently in the source and are transcribed exactly as printed: the "Total valid votes cast" and "Valid votes cast for unions" columns use commas on four-digit values (e.g. 1,119; 5,019; 2,672), while the "Number of employees eligible to vote" and "Eligible employees in units choosing representation" columns print four-digit values without commas (e.g. 1243, 6080, 1102, 1557, 2118). All rows and division subtotals are internally arithmetically consistent (union sub-totals sum to their group totals, union votes plus no-union votes equal total valid votes, and each division subtotal equals the sum of its states), so no misprints are suspected. No cells were illegible.

No footnote texts are printed on this crop, although the stub heading carries a superscript 1 marker (its text appears elsewhere in the report). The division totals for New England do not equal the sum of the member states shown here because Connecticut falls on the preceding page; Pacific and South Atlantic totals do cross-foot exactly with the states listed. Digit-grouping commas are used inconsistently in the original (e.g., California "2766" in the eligible-to-vote column but "2,147" in total valid votes cast; "2038" vs "1,159"); these are transcribed exactly as printed, with typesetting spaces after commas removed. Row-label capitalization is as printed, including "District Of Columbia".

p. 172. The crop begins part-way through the West North Central division: the states listed start at Kansas, so the Iowa row (and any earlier divisions) fall on the preceding page. The "West North Central" subtotal line therefore exceeds the sum of the state rows shown here (e.g. 40 total elections vs. 33 for the six states printed); this is consistent with a missing Iowa row of 7 elections rather than a misprint. The West South Central block is complete and every column of its subtotal line adds exactly. Digit-grouping commas are inconsistent as printed: "2299" (Missouri, Number of employees eligible to vote), "4588" (West North Central, same column), "2057" (West South Central, same column) and "1349" (West South Central, Eligible employees in units choosing representation) are printed without commas, while other four-digit values in those columns carry them. Transcribed as printed. The last column heading is printed hyphen-broken across lines as "Eligible employ- ees in units choos- ing rep- resentati on"; joined to "Eligible employees in units choosing representation".
