Reader’s notes

p. 147. All cells are legible; no doubtful readings. Internal check: in every one of the eight case-type panels the eight stage rows sum exactly to the printed "Total number of cases closed" (e.g. All C 20,586+1,520+100+35+189+411+289+1 = 23,131; CD 77+8+4+0+11+1+0+0 = 101), so no suspected misprints. The footnote marker 1 appears on the caption ("Fiscal Year 2007^1"), which is omitted per instructions; the footnote text itself is printed below the table and is retained. The "Percent of cases closed" headings are printed broken as "Per-/cent of/cases/closed" and have been rejoined; likewise "Num-/ber". Leader dots following the row labels were dropped. The apostrophe in "judge's" is a typographic right single quote in the scan, transcribed as a plain apostrophe.
