p. 179. The crop cuts off the footnote block: only the first partial line of footnote 1 is visible at the bottom edge ("1 \"Proceedings\" ... comparable to \"cases\" reported in annual reports prior to fiscal 1964. This term, as currently used, describes the data ... a \"proceeding\" often includes ..."), with its lower half of glyphs sliced away, and footnotes 2 and 3 (markers appear on "Board dismissal" and on "Proceedings decided by U.S. Supreme Court") are not on the image at all. Footnotes are therefore returned empty rather than reconstructed. Twelve columns: stub, five "Number of proceedings" columns, four "Percentages" columns, then "Number" and "Percent" under the cumulative heading. All dash cells in the table are the short double dash "--" printed in the Percentages and cumulative columns; they are transcribed literally as "--" rather than "" because they are a printed "not applicable" symbol in a numeric column, not a blank or a rule. Suspected misprint, transcribed as printed: in the row "Court orders holding respondent in contempt" the "vs. unions only" (Number of proceedings) cell reads 1, while that row's Total is 8 and its "vs. employers only" is 8 (8 + 1 = 9 > 8), and its percentage cells read 100.0 for employers and "--" for unions, which implies 0 unions. The same column's four sub-rows (1 + 1 + 0 + 0 = 2) also exceed the "Total Court Orders" value of 1 in that column. I read the digit as 1 on two separate views of the image; nothing was corrected. The "Total Court Orders" block (48) is not the sum of the lines printed above it in that section; it is a separate subtotal of the four indented lines that follow it (34 + 8 + 1 + 5 = 48). Transcribed in printed order with no reordering. Two stub labels wrap in the original and are joined here: "Court orders denying petition or discontinuing proceedings at CLCB request" and "Court orders directing compliance without contempt adjudication"; for the latter the printed values sit on the second line of the label, and they are kept with the single joined row. Likewise "Board's request for remand or modification of enforcement order denied". Hyphenated heading breaks were repaired: "vs. em-ployers only", "vs. both employ-ers and unions", "Board dismis-sal". The cumulative number 11906 is printed without a digit-grouping comma, unlike 7885/1555/1599 which are also comma-free in this table; transcribed as printed.
