p. 154. The table is continued beyond this crop: the body stops at "New Hampshire" with no New England division subtotal and no remaining divisions or U.S. total, which appear on the following page. The page continues a table whose earlier divisions (e.g. the first divisions of the series) are also on preceding pages, but the column headings are printed here in full. Column-width conventions differ by column as printed: "Number of employees eligible to vote" and "Eligible employees in units choosing representation" print four-digit values without digit-grouping commas (e.g. 1635, 5046, 2639, 1505), while "Total valid votes cast" and the "Valid votes cast for unions" columns use commas (e.g. 1,420, 4,221, 2,175). These are transcribed as printed. Possible anomaly for a reader, transcribed as printed and not corrected: Arizona, column "Eligible employees in units choosing representation" reads 14 despite 1 election won and 251 valid votes cast for unions. The value is legible and is consistent with the Mountain division subtotal (14+187+0+0+203+267+0+0 = 671, as printed). Division subtotals in the last column check out against their member states (East North Central 2639, East South Central 861, Middle Atlantic 1505, Mountain 671), which supports the column alignment.

p. 155. The page continues Table 15C from the preceding page ("—Continued" in the caption): the first two rows (Rhode Island, Vermont) are the tail of the New England division, whose subtotal (18 elections) covers states printed earlier and not shown on this crop. The table ends with the South Atlantic subtotal and continues onto a following page. 15 columns: stub, "Total elections", four columns under "Number of elections in which representation rights were won by unions", "Number of elections in which no representative was chosen", "Number of employees eligible to vote", "Total valid votes cast", four columns under "Valid votes cast for unions", "Total votes for no union", and "Eligible employees in units choosing representation". The last column heading is set with broken words and a stranded fragment ("Eligible employ-ees in units choos-ing rep-resentati on"); I joined it to "Eligible employees in units choosing representation". Typesetting: the two employee-count columns ("Number of employees eligible to vote" and "Eligible employees in units choosing representation") are printed without digit-grouping commas (e.g. California 4044 and 1776, Pacific 7140 and 2648, South Atlantic 4370 and 3197), while the vote columns do use commas; both are transcribed as printed. "District Of Columbia" is printed with a capital O. Indentation marks the division subtotal rows (New England, Outlying Areas, Pacific, South Atlantic), which also sit above/below rule lines; they are transcribed as ordinary rows. All printed subtotals are internally consistent with the state rows shown, and the row arithmetic (union total = AFL-CIO + other national + other local; total valid votes = union votes + votes for no union) checks out everywhere, so no misprints are suspected. No cells were illegible.

The crop is the last page of Table 15C: the column headings are printed here, but the body begins mid-table with the West North Central division (earlier divisions appear on preceding pages), and it ends with the grand total row. 15 columns, counted from the column rules: stub, Total elections, the four-column "won by unions" block, "no representative was chosen", eligible employees, total valid votes cast, the four-column "Valid votes cast for unions" block, total votes for no union, and eligible employees in units choosing representation. The last heading is printed hyphenated across lines as "Eligible employ-ees in units choos-ing rep-resentati on" and has been joined to "Eligible employees in units choosing representation". "West North Central" and "West South Central" are indented division subtotal rows. Digit-grouping commas are used inconsistently in the original (e.g. "2078", "3727", "2581", "28078", "14683" and "1944" are printed without commas while "1,643", "3,087" and "22,690" have them); these are transcribed exactly as printed. Possible misprint, transcribed as printed: the Oklahoma row shows "Total valid votes cast" = 90 exceeding "Number of employees eligible to vote" = 89. All other rows sum correctly to their division subtotals. No footnote markers appear on any value; the only marker is the superscript 1 on the stub heading.
