Reader’s notes

p. 264. Two printed columns: the stub (headed "Action taken") and a single value column headed "Cases/Amount" (printed on two lines, joined here). There is only one vertical column rule, to the left of the value column; the roman numerals I.-IV. sit in a hanging indent of the stub, not in a separate ruled column, so each numeral is kept at the head of its own row label. Likewise the sub-letters A./B./C. and the twice-indented "Granting fees:"/"Denying fees:"/"Claimed:"/"Recovered:" lines are indent levels within the stub, not extra columns. Row labels that wrap over two or three printed lines (I.B, II.C, and the section lines II and III) are joined into single labels; the trailing colon printed on each label is retained and the leader dots dropped. The "Recovered:" value is printed "$ 35,000.00" with a space after the dollar sign, inserted to right-align the digits with "$355,204.05" above it; transcribed as "$35,000.00". No other cell has internal spacing issues. The value for II.C ("0") is printed on the last line of its three-line label, aligned with "of fee amount):". Rows I, I.B, I.C, II, III and IV are label-only section lines with no printed value. The crop includes the page's "Appendix" running head and a partially cut-off page number at the top right (both omitted per instructions). No footnotes are printed under the table, and the table ends with a closing rule below the last row, so nothing appears to be cut off at the bottom.
