The stub ("Division and State^2"), "All cases" and the C/R symbol headings are tall cells spanning the levels, so they are repeated per the instructions. The caption reads "Page 1 of 3", so the table continues on the following pages; the crop ends mid-section with Connecticut (the first State of the New England group, whose remaining States and division subtotal are not on this page). Typography as printed: the "All C cases" and "All R cases" columns are set without digit-grouping commas on four-digit values (e.g. Illinois 1628, East North Central 6159 and 1046, New York 2951, Middle Atlantic 5529, Mountain 1665), while the "All cases", CA and CB columns use commas (1,988; 1,091; 1,527). This is reproduced as printed, not normalized. The Utah row is unusual in shape — CA 48 is smaller than CC 61 — but it is printed that way and is internally consistent: Utah's C columns sum to the printed All C cases 134, and the Mountain subtotals (CA 1,292 and CC 104) both reconcile only with these values in these columns, so this is not a column misalignment in the transcription. Every row sums correctly across (C columns to "All C cases"; All C + All R + UD + AC + UC to "All cases"), and every division subtotal (East North Central, East South Central, Middle Atlantic, Mountain) equals the sum of its member States in all 16 numeric columns. No misprints detected and no illegible cells.

p. 216. 17 printed columns: stub, "All cases", eight columns under "Unfair labor practice cases" (All C cases, CA, CB, CC, CD, CE, CG, CP), four under "Representation cases" (All R cases, RC, RM, RD), then the three tall single headings UD, AC, UC. This is page 2 of 3 of the table, so it is a continuation: the indented division rows "New England", "Outlying Areas" and "Pacific" are division subtotals whose components are only partly on this page (e.g. New England's state rows here sum to 1,032 in "All C cases" against the printed 1483, the remainder being Connecticut, printed on page 1). Each division row is nevertheless internally consistent (its CA-CP cells sum to its "All C cases", its RC/RM/RD cells to its "All R cases", and those plus UD/AC/UC to "All cases"), and every state row checks the same way, which confirms the column assignments. The South Atlantic group is cut off after Georgia and continues on page 3. Typesetting inconsistency carried through as printed: some four-digit figures in the "All C cases" column lack the digit-grouping comma ("1483" for New England, "3397" for California, "4559" for Pacific) while the neighbouring columns use it ("1,734", "3,928", "5,391", "1,183", "3,213", "1,240"). No cells were illegible or doubtful.

The stub heading "Division and State^2" and "All cases" each occupy a tall cell spanning both heading levels, so they are repeated in both header rows; UD/AC/UC sit under their own tall group headings. This is page 3 of 3 of Table 6A, so the body opens mid-way through the South Atlantic division (the earlier States of that division are on the preceding page) and the "South Atlantic" subtotal therefore exceeds the sum of the five States shown here. The three indented lines ("South Atlantic", "West North Central", "West South Central") are division subtotals, and the last line is the grand total. Typesetting inconsistency, transcribed as printed: several four- and five-digit figures lack the digit-grouping comma used elsewhere in the same column — "2865", "1360" and "1750" in the All C cases column, "1074" (Texas, All C cases), "26885" (Total, All C cases) and "4549" (Total, All R cases). All other four-digit-and-up values carry commas. All rows and columns were cross-checked arithmetically and are internally consistent: each State's C-case detail sums to All C cases, RC+RM+RD sums to All R cases, and the row components sum to All cases; the three division subtotals and the grand total also reconcile. No illegible or doubtful cells.
