The crop ends mid-table: the body is cut off after the "Maine" row (the New England division subtotal and the remaining divisions continue on the following page), and no footnote texts are printed on this image even though footnote markers appear in the caption (superscript 1) and in the stub heading "Division and State" (superscript 2). Column structure: 17 columns — stub, "All cases", eight columns under "Unfair labor practice cases" (All C cases, CA, CB, CC, CD, CE, CG, CP), four under "Representation cases" (All R cases, RC, RM, RD), then three single-column headings whose short codes UD, AC and UC are printed on a third heading level. Division subtotal rows (East North Central, East South Central, Middle Atlantic, Mountain) are printed indented and set off by rules; their labels are transcribed without the indentation. All values are crisp and legible; no cell was doubtful. As an internal check, every state row's components sum to its "All C cases" and "All cases" entries, and every division subtotal equals the sum of its member states in all 16 numeric columns, so no misprints are suspected.

p. 105. This is a continuation page ("—Continued" in the caption), so the table is cut off at both ends. The New England group begins on the previous page: only New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont are printed here, so the "New England" subtotal row (1969 etc.) is larger than the three member rows shown. At the bottom the crop ends after Virginia, mid-section (the South Atlantic group has no subtotal row on this image), and no footnote text appears on the crop even though footnote markers 1 (caption) and 2 (stub heading "Division and State") are printed; the footnote texts must be elsewhere on the page. Header structure: 17 columns. "Unfair labor practice cases" spans the eight columns All C cases through CP; "Representation cases" spans All R cases through RD. "Division and State^2", "All cases" and the ULP/representation subcolumn headings are tall headings repeated down the levels they span; only the last three columns have a separate bottom level carrying the code letters UD, AC and UC under the spelled-out headings "Union deauthorization cases", "Amendment of certification cases" and "Unit clarification cases". Arithmetic check (no values were altered): every data row's components sum to its "All cases" figure, and the "Outlying Areas" and "Pacific" subtotal rows reconcile exactly with their member rows in all 16 numeric columns, so column alignment is well corroborated. "District Of Columbia" is printed with a capital O in "Of" and is kept as printed. The source prints these figures without digit-grouping commas (e.g. "4028", "1189"); that is as printed.

The three right-hand headings are tall, spanning the top two heading levels, with their code letters (UD, AC, UC) on the third level; "Division and State^2" and "All cases" span all three levels. The page is a continuation ("—Continued" in the caption), so it opens mid-section: West Virginia is the last state of the South Atlantic division, whose subtotal follows it; the earlier states of that division are on the preceding page. Footnote 2, attached to the stub heading "Division and State", is not printed on this crop (it appears with the first page of the table). The footnote line at the foot of the page is clipped by the bottom edge of the crop — only the upper halves of the letters are visible. It reads as the standard "1 See Glossary of terms for definitions." but the wording is partly inferred from letter tops rather than fully legible. Digit-grouping commas are inconsistent as printed in the "Total, all States and areas" row: 35,851 / 30,175 / 23,033 carry commas while 6269, 5285 and 4246 do not. Transcribed exactly as printed. All subtotal rows (South Atlantic is only partially checkable here, West North Central and West South Central fully) add up to their component states in every column, and the "All cases", "All C cases" and "All R cases" columns are internally consistent, which supports the column assignments.
