Reader’s notes

p. 192. Two printed columns: the stub ("Stage") and "Median days"; the heading "Median days" is printed on two lines and joined here. The roman numerals "I." and "II." sit in the far-left indent of the stub, not in a separate ruled column, so they are kept at the head of their section labels ("I. Unfair labor practice cases:", "II. Representation cases:"). Section and heading lines with no value (I, II, A/B/C headings, "6. Filing of petition to-") have an empty value cell; the last row, "C. Age of cases pending Regional Director's decision, September 30, 2000", does carry a value (142) on the same printed line. Apostrophes are rendered as plain "'" (the original mixes typographic and straight forms). The caption of the following table ("Table 24.-NLRB Activity Under the Equal Access to Justice Act, FY 2000") appears at the bottom of the crop and is excluded. All digits are from clean vector-quality type and are legible; no doubtful cells.
