Reader’s notes

p. 172. Two printed columns, separated by a single vertical rule: the stub ("Stage") and the numeric column. The roman numerals I. and II. sit in the stub's hanging indent, not in a column of their own, so they are kept at the head of their row labels along with the A./B./C. and 1./2./3. levels. Column heading is printed on two lines as "Media" / "days"; it is transcribed as printed ("Media days"), but it is almost certainly a misprint for "Median days" (the same table in neighboring fiscal years reads "Median days"). Not corrected here. Suspected misprints, transcribed as printed: row I.A.1 reads "Filling of charge" (double l) where row I.A.8 reads "Filing of charge"; row II.A.1 reads "Filing of petition of notice of hearing issued", where "to notice of hearing issued" is the expected wording. The crop cuts off the running head ("Appendix") and the page number at the top, and the caption lines were omitted as instructed. No footnotes are printed under the table. Apostrophes are printed as typographic right single quotes and are transcribed as plain ASCII apostrophes. All values are clearly legible; no doubtful digits.
