The crop ends after the "West North Central" subtotal row at a double rule; the remaining census divisions (South Atlantic, East/West South Central, Mountain, Pacific, and the national total) continue on the following page and are not on this image. The stub heading carries a superscript footnote marker 1 ("Division and State^1"), but no footnote text is printed on this crop — it presumably appears at the foot of the page where the table ends, so `footnotes` is empty. The last heading is typeset with hyphenated line breaks ("Eligible employ-ees in units choos-ing rep-resentati on") and has been rejoined as "Eligible employees in units choosing representation". Verification: every one of the 14 numeric columns was summed within each of the four divisions and matches its printed subtotal exactly (New England, Middle Atlantic, East North Central, West North Central). No arithmetic discrepancies or suspected misprints. All cells are legible; no blank or doubtful cells. Kansas shows a printed 0 in "Other local unions", consistent with the West North Central subtotal of 532 (Minnesota 213 + Missouri 319).

The last two header cells are set with end-of-line hyphens, which I repaired: "Eligible employ-ees in units choos-ing rep-resentati on" is transcribed as "Eligible employees in units choosing representation"; likewise "Total elec-tions", "Number of elec-tions in which no rep-resenta-tive was chosen", and "Number of em-ployees eligible to vote". The crop is cut off at the bottom: the Mountain division block (Montana through Nevada) is printed here without its division subtotal row, which falls below the crop. Every other division block ends with its subtotal (South Atlantic, East South Central, West South Central). All printed page is legible; no doubtful cells. As an internal check, each of the three complete division subtotals (South Atlantic, East South Central, West South Central) sums exactly from its member states in all 14 numeric columns, so no misprints were detected.

p. 148. The crop is a continuation page: the table's first row is the "Mountain" division subtotal, whose individual State rows appear on the preceding page. "Mountain", "Pacific" and "Outlying Areas" are indented division-subtotal lines, as is the final "Total, all States and areas" row; indentation is not preserved in the labels. Row labels "Perto Rico" and "Virgin Island" are transcribed exactly as printed (apparent misprints for "Puerto Rico" and "Virgin Islands"). The last column heading is printed hyphenated across lines as "Eligible employ-ees in units choos-ing rep-resentati on"; the broken words were rejoined to "Eligible employees in units choosing representation". The crop cuts the final letters of that heading tight against the right rule but it is legible. All printed subtotals and the grand total were checked against their components and are internally consistent (Pacific and Outlying Areas sum correctly in every column; the Mountain and all-States rows are also consistent across the won-by-unions and valid-votes breakdowns), so no misprinted figures are suspected. All cells are legible; no cell is blank or doubtful.
