Reader’s notes
p. 132. 11 columns: the stub plus a Number/Percent pair for each of All R, RC, RM, RD and UD cases. The stub heading "Method and stage of disposition" is one tall cell spanning both heading levels, so it is repeated in each level. The caption (excluded per instructions) carries a raised footnote marker 1, but no footnote text is printed inside this crop; the body ends with a closing rule after "By Board decision", so the table appears complete and any footnote text falls outside the crop. Row labels are indented in the original to show hierarchy ("After:" is a section line with no values; the "Before notice of hearing" / "After notice of hearing, before hearing closed" / "After hearing closed, before decision" triplets are sub-lines under Consent election, Stipulated election, By withdrawal and By dismissal). Indentation is not preserved in the cells, so identical labels recur under different parents. The label "After Regional Director's decision and direction of election" wraps onto two printed lines and is joined here; curly apostrophes in that label and in "By Regional Director's decision" are transcribed as plain apostrophes. Arithmetic check (not corrected, for information only): 3,693 + 1,658 + 357 = 5,708, matching the printed All R total, and the RC, RM, RD and UD columns likewise reconcile to their printed totals.
