Reader’s notes
p. 131. The table has 11 columns: the stub plus five two-column panels (All R, RC, RM, RD, UD cases), each panel giving "Number of cases" and "Percent of cases closed". These are stacked column groups of one table, not side-by-side panels, so no row re-stacking was needed. The second heading of the RD panel is printed "Per-cent of cases closed" with a hyphen inside the word on a single line (not an end-of-line break); it is transcribed as printed. The corresponding headings in the other four panels read "Percent of". In the last body row (After issuance of Board decision), the UD "Percent of cases closed" cell holds a dash rule ("----"), transcribed as an empty cell. The UD "Number of cases" cell in that row is a printed zero and is kept as 0. The caption carries a superscript footnote marker 1 ("Fiscal Year 1999^1"), but no footnote text is printed below the table within this crop; the footnote text is presumably below the cropped area or on the facing page. All five panels' detail rows sum exactly to their printed totals (All R 5,708; RC 4,731; RM 137; RD 840; UD 128), and no misprints were detected.
