Reader’s notes

p. 198. Two printed columns: the stub ("Stage") and a single numeric column. The stub carries a three-level outline (Roman numeral / capital letter / arabic numeral, with a/b at the deepest level under II.A.6); all of it sits in the one stub column, so the numbering is kept at the head of each label. Heading: the column head is printed over two lines and reads "Media / days" on this scan — the word is almost certainly "Median", with the final "n" lost to the scan or to a broken sort. It is transcribed as printed ("Media days"); treat the column as median days. Suspected misprints, all transcribed as printed: - Row I.A.1 reads "Filling of charge to issuance of complaint" with a doubled "l"; every parallel row in the table uses "Filing". - Row I.A.3 reads "Close of hearing of administrative law judge's decision"; the parallel construction elsewhere (and the sense) calls for "to administrative law judge's decision". - Row II.A.1 reads "Filing of petition of notice of hearing issued"; "to notice of hearing issued" is the expected wording. The last row (II.C) is a lettered section line that nonetheless carries its own value, 190, on the same printed line; it is not a sub-divided section like II.B. The caption, the page's running head and any page number were excluded. No footnotes are printed beneath the table, and the body ends at the closing rule, so nothing appears cut off by the crop. Apostrophes in "judge's", "Board's" and "Director's" are printed as typographic apostrophes in most rows and as straight apostrophes in a few (e.g. II.A.4, II.A.5); they are normalized to a plain apostrophe throughout.
