p. 171. The crop cuts the table off in panel B: the last printed row on this image is "AFL-CIO v National" of section B; the rest of section B (and any further sections) and the footnote texts for markers ^1 (in the caption) and ^2 (Total elections) are not on this image, so `footnotes` is empty. 14 columns: stub, Total elections^2, five columns under "Elections won by unions", "Elections in which no representative chosen", five columns under "Employees eligible to vote" (Total, In elections won, and three under "In units won by"), and "In elections where no representative chosen". Doubtful cell: section A, row "Other local unions", column "Employees eligible to vote - In units won by - Other local unions" reads as 10,730 in the scan, but arithmetic suggests 10,370 (that row's "In elections won" is 10,370, 20,776 - 10,370 = 10,406 matches the last column, and the "1-union elections" subtotal in that same column is 10,370). It is transcribed as it appears; the digits 7 and 3 may be transposed either in the original printing or in my reading. The decimal points in the "Percent won" column are very faint in the scan (printed e.g. as "47 5"); they are transcribed as decimal points (47.5), and every percentage is consistent with Total won / Total elections. The section line for panel A shows "A" followed by a gap before "All representation elections"; the period is not clearly visible (panel B clearly prints "B."). It is transcribed as "A. All representation elections". The row label "AFL-CIO v National" in section A is followed by a stray leader dot, dropped as instructed. A stray mark sits just before "53" in the "In elections won" column of the "National v Local" row (read as 53). The column heading "Other local unions" at the far right of "In units won by" carries a small raised speck after "Other" that may be a printing artifact rather than a footnote marker; it is not transcribed as a marker. Dash rules ("----" / "---") are rendered as empty cells; printed zeros are kept as 0. All other subtotal and total rows check out arithmetically against their component rows.

p. 172. Crop is a continuation page ("—Continued" in the caption). It opens mid-section B (elections in RC cases): the preceding RC rows and the section-B heading line are on the previous page, and the crop is cut off at the bottom in the middle of section D (elections in RD cases) — the remaining RD rows and the "Total RD elections" line are not shown. No footnote texts are printed on this page, although footnote markers 1 (caption) and 2 ("Total elections") appear. Decimal points: in the "Percent won" column the scan has dropped nearly every decimal point, so the values print as e.g. "84 6", "100 0", "51 6", "22 9", "32 4". I have written them with the decimal point restored (84.6, 100.0, 51.6, 22.9, 32.4, etc.); each is consistent with Total won / Total elections, so the reading is secure, but the point itself is not legible in the image. Section-line periods: the two section lines print as "C Elections in RM cases" and "D Elections in RD cases" with the period after the letter lost to the same scan degradation; I have written "C." and "D.". Em-dash rules: cells shown as "----" (a dash rule meaning "none") are transcribed as "" throughout; printed zeros are kept as 0. Note the contrast within rows such as "Other National unions" (RM), where the AFL-CIO-unions cell is a dash rule and the other-national-unions cell is a printed 0. Row-label wording kept as printed, including inconsistencies: "3 (or more)-union elections" (hyphenated, RC panel) vs. "3 (or more) union elections" (unhyphenated, RM panel); "Other National unions" with capital N in the RM panel vs. "Other national unions" in the RD panel. Nothing was computed or corrected; all cross-foots that could be checked (components summing to Total won, In units won by summing to In elections won, and In elections won + In elections where no representative chosen = Total) agree with the printed figures.

p. 173. Crop is the "—Continued" portion of Table 13 covering RD elections; column headings are printed on this page, so they are transcribed. No footnote texts are printed under the table on this crop, although markers ^1 (in the caption, excluded) and ^2 (on "Total elections") appear. Decimal points: in the "Percent won" column the scan drops/fades the decimal point, so the cells read as "31 4", "80 0", "50 0", "100 0", "70 0", "32 2". They are transcribed with the decimal point restored (31.4, 80.0, 50.0, 100.0, 70.0, 32.2); each is confirmed by the printed ratios (140/446=31.4, 4/5=80.0, 2/4=50.0, 1/1=100.0, 7/10=70.0, 147/456=32.2). Row labels "AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO", "AFL-CIO v Local" and "Local v Local" are transcribed without a period after "v"; the scan shows a gap there and a faded period ("v.") is possible. Stray ink marks, treated as speckle and not transcribed: a tick-like mark before the 4 in row "AFL-CIO v AFL-CIO", column "AFL-CIO unions" (under Elections won by unions); a tick-like mark before the 3 in row "2-union elections", column "Elections in which no representative chosen"; a dot after the 51 in row "2-union elections", column "Other local unions" (under In units won by). The value 4 in the first of these is corroborated by the row (total won 4 = 4 + none + none) and by the 2-union subtotal (4+1+0=5). Cells printed as a dash rule ("----") are rendered as "". All printed totals and subtotals cross-foot correctly against the component rows and columns; nothing was computed or altered.
