Crop: the caption line is clipped at the very top of the image and is omitted as instructed. The body ends at "2,000 to 2,999" with the bottom rule; the table's part B (decertification elections) is not on this crop. Dash rules: the em-dash rules printed in the "Cumulative percent of total" cell of the total row and in percent cells whose paired count is 0 are transcribed as "" per instructions. Headings as printed: the third panel's percent heading reads "Percent of size class" (not "Percent by size class" as in the other two panels); this appears to be a typesetting inconsistency in the original and is transcribed as printed. "AFL–CIO" is printed with an en dash; written here as "AFL-CIO". Doubtful cell: row "20 to 29", column "Other local unions / Percent of size class" reads 14.2 in the scan, but 19/135 = 14.1, and every other percent in that panel matches its computed value. The glyph is transcribed as printed (14.2); it is either a misprint or a 1 degraded to look like a 2. Verification performed (nothing computed into cells): all five count columns sum exactly to their printed totals — eligible to vote 217,599; total elections 3,075; AFL-CIO 1,352; other national 63; other local 135; no representative 1,525 — and each row's four outcome counts sum to that row's total elections. The cumulative percent column also accumulates exactly from the percent-of-total column. Stray ink specks sit next to some values (notably the "Percent of total" cells of rows "50 to 59" and "150 to 159", which print as ".4.9" and "0.9·"); these are scan artifacts, and the values are transcribed as 4.9 and 0.9, consistent with the cumulative column. Minor printed-rounding oddities left as printed: AFL-CIO "Percent by size class" shows 0.5 for the counts 8 in rows "190 to 199" and "400 to 499" (8/1,352 = 0.59).

p. 165. The crop is a continuation page ("—Continued") showing only panel B of Table 17; panel A (RC/RM elections) is on the preceding page. The section line "B. Decertification elections (RD)" is printed centred across the data columns; it is recorded in the stub cell with the remaining cells empty. Dash rules ("——") appear in many cells and are transcribed as empty: the cumulative-percent cell of the "Total RD elections" row, and the percent-by-size-class cells wherever the corresponding count is 0 (including "130 to 139", "160 to 169" and "170 to 199" in the "no representative was chosen" percent column, where the count is a printed 0). The heading over the "Other local unions" percent column reads "Percent of size class" (not "by size class" as in the other two union panels); transcribed as printed. Scan noise: several stray ink specks sit in the margins and between columns (e.g. a dot left of "17" in the AFL-CIO Number column for "10 to 19", a dot before "1" in Total elections for "160 to 169", a mark after "2" for "170 to 199", and a mark before "0" in the no-representative Number column for "160 to 169"). These were read as dirt, not digits or markers. The "3.2" in Percent of total for "80 to 89" carries a similar speck above the 3 but is read as 3.2. Arithmetic checks pass on every numeric column against the "Total RD elections" row: eligible-to-vote 18,417; total elections 405; AFL-CIO 117; other national 3; other local 7; no representative 278. The Percent of total column sums to 100.0 and agrees with the printed cumulative column at every step, and each percent-by-size-class column sums to 100.0. No misprints detected.
