Reader’s notes

p. 140. Seven columns: stub plus the six columns under the spanner "Type of election". The stub heading "Type of case" spans both heading levels. Section rows ("All types, total", "RC cases:", "RM cases:", "RD cases", "UD cases:") carry a label and no values; each is followed by its three data rows (Elections, Eligible voters, Valid votes). "RD cases" is printed without the trailing colon that the other case-type labels carry; transcribed as printed. The three UD-cases cells in the last column ("Expedited elections under 8(b)(7)(C)") hold a printed dash rule, so they are "". The footnote line at the foot of the page is clipped by the bottom edge of the crop (the descenders are cut), but the text is legible and no further footnote text follows it. Arithmetic check (not applied to any cell, only to flag misprints): in all six value columns the four case types (RC, RM, RD, UD) sum exactly to the "All types, total" figures for Elections, Eligible voters and Valid votes. No discrepancies found.
