p. 121. Four printed columns: stub, "Cases in which formal actions taken" (a tall single heading spanning both heading levels), and the spanner "Formal actions taken by type of case" over AC and UC. Several printed rows do not add across as printed, and are transcribed exactly as shown: "Requests for review received" 37 vs AC 0 + UC 35 = 35; "Board action on requests ruled upon, total" 30 vs 1 + 28 = 29; "Granted" 5 vs 0 + 4 = 4. All other rows add correctly (e.g. 62 = 6 + 54, 65 = 6 + 59, 25 = 1 + 24). The AC cells in those three rows are legibly printed as 0, 1 and 0 respectively, so the discrepancy appears to be in the source rather than in reading; note that this 1996 scan is a lossy-compressed image where single digits can be unreliable, so the AC/UC values for those three rows are the ones a checker should re-verify. Row labels are printed at several indent levels (e.g. "By Regional Directors", "Granted", "Affirmed" are subordinate lines); indentation is not encoded in the cells. "Review of Regional Directors' decisions:" and "Regional Directors' decisions:" are section lines carrying no values. The caption carries footnote marker 1, which is recorded with the caption elsewhere and so is not repeated in the grid. A stray ink mark sits above the rule at the top right of the crop; it is not a table entry.
