6 of 6 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 160. Six columns: stub, Total, then four petitioner columns. The stub has no printed heading, so its header cells are empty. "Total" is a tall heading occupying all three header levels; "Number of cases" is the top-level spanner over the four petitioner columns only (its rule and the rule under "Identification of petitioner" both begin at the left edge of the Employer column, to the right of the Total column rule), and "Identification of petitioner" spans the same four columns. The spanner texts sit slightly left of the geometric centre of that four-column block, so a reading in which they also span the Total column cannot be entirely ruled out; the column assignment of the data values is unaffected either way. The heading printed "Em-/ployer" is joined as "Employer". In the last body row ("Pending September 30, 1994") a stray ink dot appears just right of the Total/Employer column rule, before the Employer value 0; it is a leader-dot or speckle artifact, not a digit or footnote marker. The scan renders "Identification of petitioner", "Union" and several row-label words with weakened dotted i/t strokes, but the words are unambiguous. No rows or columns appear cut off by the crop.
