All arithmetic checks pass as printed: each state's valid votes = union votes + no-union votes, union total = AFL-CIO + other national + other local, and every division subtotal equals the sum of its states in all 14 numeric columns. No suspected misprints. No cells were illegible; the scan is clean, though the printed apostrophe-like dot accents (e.g. "Mississippi", "Wyoming") are scanner artifacts of the dotted i and are not transcribed as marks.

Fifteen columns: stub, total elections, four "won by unions" columns, elections with no representative chosen, employees eligible to vote, total valid votes cast, four "valid votes cast for unions" columns, total votes for no union, and eligible employees in units choosing representation. "Pacific" and "Outlying Areas" are indented subtotal lines set off by rules; their indentation is not reproduced in the cell text. The scan renders several i/ti ligatures imperfectly (e.g. "Califorma" for California, "Hawau" for Hawaii, "Virgm" for Virgin, "Division" as "Divlsion"); these are read as the intended words. All printed subtotals and the Pacific/Outlying Areas lines are internally consistent with their component rows; the grand-total line includes rows from earlier pages and was not checked.
