  1. 1 See Glossary of terms for definitions.
  2. 2 See Table 11E for rerun elections held after objections were sustained. In 8 elections in which objections were sustained, the cases were subsequently withdrawn. Therefore, in these cases no rerun elections were conducted.

31 of 31 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.

Reader’s notes

p. 160. Eight columns: stub, three tall single headings ("Objections filed", "Objections withdrawn", "Objections ruled upon") that span both heading levels, then "Overruled" and "Sustained^2" each spanning a Number and a Percent-of-total-ruled-upon column. The stub has no printed heading. Dash rules ("——") appear in the percent columns wherever the corresponding Number is 0; these are transcribed as "" (RM cases Sustained percent; Consent elections Overruled and Sustained percent; Expedited elections Sustained percent; Board-directed elections Overruled and Sustained percent). The caption carries footnote marker 1, which is omitted with the caption; footnote 1 itself is retained. Scan quality: the page is a 1-bit scan in which dotted i's often drop out (e.g. "elections" prints as "electlons", "Regional" as "Reglonal", "withdrawn" as "wlthdrawn"); these are rendered with the intended spelling. Footnote 2 ends with a stray apostrophe-like speck after "conducted." that is treated as scanning dirt and not transcribed. Arithmetic checks pass on every row (filed = withdrawn + ruled upon; Overruled + Sustained = ruled upon), so no misprints are suspected.
