Reader’s notes
p. 199. Nine columns: stub plus four two-column panels (Number / Percent by type). The stub has no printed heading, so cell 0 of both header levels is empty; the "Total rerun elections" heading carries footnote marker 2. Section label "By type of case." appears to end with a period in the scan (its counterpart "By type of election:" clearly ends with a colon); it is likely a broken colon, but it is transcribed as it appears. In the "All representation elections" row there is a small ink speck immediately to the left of 49 in the "No union chosen / Number" column; it is read as scanning dirt, not a digit or footnote marker. Em-dash rules in percent cells (RM cases and RD cases under "Union certified / Percent by type"; all percent cells in the Consent, Expedited and Board-directed rows; and RD cases under "Outcome of original election reversed / Percent by type") are rendered as empty cells per instructions. The all-elections total of 72 does not equal the sum of the by-type-of-election rows (0 + 59 + 0 + 13 + 0 = 72 does match), and the by-type-of-case rows sum to 72 as printed; no arithmetic was altered.
