Reader’s notes

p. 208. Six printed columns: stub, Total, and four columns under the spanner "Number of cases" / "Identification of petitioner". The rule under "Number of cases" begins at the Total/Employer column divider, so both spanners are transcribed as covering only the four petitioner columns; "Total" is a tall single heading repeated across all three heading levels, and the stub has no printed heading. "Em-ployer" is hyphenated across two printed lines and is rejoined. All printed row totals are internally consistent with their components (e.g. 7+2+0+2=11). Scan quality is slightly blurred on the heading words ("Identification of petitioner", "Union") but the digits are clear and unambiguous.
