Reader’s notes

p. 207. Thirteen columns: stub plus four court groups (Total—all courts, courts of appeals, district courts, bankruptcy courts), each with Number decided / Court determination: Upholding Board position / Contrary to Board position. Doubtful cell: row "To restrain NLRB from", column "In district courts — Upholding Board position". The impression there is very faint and could be read as blank; I transcribed it as 0 because every other cell in the table prints an explicit 0 and because the column's subtotals require it (the four sub-rows below give 0+0+0+0, and the "Action by other parties" line's district upholding total of 6 = 0+0+5+1). Two "Other" row labels occur: one as the last sub-item under "To restrain NLRB from" (printed "Other..") and one as the section line heading the final block (printed "Other. ....."); both are given as "Other". The label "Other--testify in D.C. Ct action" is transcribed with the double hyphen as printed. The scan carries scattered stray specks (e.g. a dot before the 1 in "To enforce subpoena" / district Number decided, specks near the "In district courts" cells of "Other--testify in D.C. Ct action" and the bankruptcy "Upholding" cell of "Proceeding in unfair labor practice case"); these were treated as printing artifacts, not digits or footnote markers. The period after "30" in the Totals row is likewise read as a speck. All printed subtotals are internally consistent with their components; nothing appears misprinted.
