Doubtful cells: in the "West North Central" row, the "Valid votes cast for unions — AFL-CIO unions" cell is smudged and the leading digit reads like a long-s; I transcribe it as 572, which is consistent both with the column sum of the seven states (19+68+385+43+0+43+14 = 572) and with the row sum 572+76+3+48 = 699. In the "Minnesota" row, stray ink sits before the "Other national unions" value (3) and the "Other local unions" value (47); likewise before "Missouri — Other national unions" (0), "Missouri / North Dakota / South Dakota — Eligible employees" column, and "North Dakota — Other national unions"; these specks are page noise, not footnote markers or digits. All printed division totals and all row-wise identities (union subtotals summing to the union total, and union total + no-union votes = total valid votes cast) check out exactly as transcribed; no misprints detected.

Crop coverage: the table is cut off at the bottom. The Mountain division block begins with Montana but the crop ends mid-block at Utah; the remaining Mountain states (e.g. Nevada) and the "Mountain" subtotal row are not on this image. The stub heading carries footnote marker 1, but no footnote text appears within the crop, so `footnotes` is empty. Scan artifacts (values themselves are legible and unambiguous): - Kentucky, "Valid votes cast for unions / AFL-CIO unions": printed with a stray dot before the figure (". 187"); transcribed as 187. - Georgia, "Valid votes cast for unions / Teamsters": a stray slash-like mark precedes the figure; transcribed as 48. - Idaho, "Eligible employees in units choosing representation": printed with a leading stray dot (".0"); transcribed as 0. - A small stray mark appears under the "Total elections" heading and above the "Valid votes cast for unions" heading; neither is a footnote marker. This is the final (continuation) page of Table 15C; the preceding states of the Mountain division and all earlier divisions are on the previous page, so the body here begins mid-table with Nevada. Headings are reprinted on this page, so they are transcribed. In the "Total, all States and areas" row, the "Total votes for no union" cell is printed with a stray ink mark resembling a period just before the figure (". 13,900"); I read the value as 13,900 and treat the dot as a scan artifact, not a footnote marker. The scan renders many "i" characters without dots (e.g. "ın", "unıons", "Hawaiı", "Virgın"); headings and labels are transcribed with normal spelling. The indented rows "Mountain", "Pacific" and "Outlying Areas" are division subtotal lines, set off by rules above and below. Internal cross-checks (component columns summing to their "Total" columns, and state rows summing to the Pacific subtotal) are consistent throughout.
