The stub heading and the tall single headings ("Total" under Number of polls, "Total eligible", and "Total" / "Percent of total eligible" under Valid votes cast) are repeated down all four heading levels; the left-hand "Resulting in deauthorization" / "Resulting in continued authorization" pairs under "Number of polls" occupy heading levels 2-3 and are likewise repeated. Decimal points: the scan prints several decimal points so faintly that they read as a space — Total row "83 8", "79 3", "14 6"; AFL-CIO "40 4"; Teamsters "83 3", "6 9"; Other national unions (last column) "81 8"; Other local unions "43 7". All are plainly percentages in a column of one-decimal values, and each is arithmetically consistent with the counts printed to its left, so they are transcribed with decimal points (83.8, 79.3, 14.6, 40.4, 83.3, 6.9, 81.8, 43.7). Row label "Total." carries a trailing period before its leader dots; transcribed as "Total". "AFL-CIO" is printed with an en-dash-like rule and is given as a hyphen. Nothing appears cut off by the crop.
