671 of 671 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 158. The crop ends at the "Manufacturing" subtotal line; the table continues on the following page(s) with the nonmanufacturing industry groups and a grand total. No footnote texts are printed on this crop, although markers are present: superscript 1 on the caption (caption excluded per instructions) and superscript 2 on the stub heading "Industrial group". The three right-hand columns carry a two-part heading: the descriptive name (Union deauthorization cases / Amendment of certification cases / Unit clarification cases) over a separate ruled band holding the case-type codes UD / AC / UC; both parts are given as separate header levels. Every row sums and every column sums exactly to the printed "Manufacturing" line, so no misprints are suspected. One doubtful glyph: the UC cell of "Leather and leather products" prints faintly and could be read as a "D", but the column total (92) confirms it is 0.
p. 159. The crop is a continuation page ("—Continued") and is cut off at the bottom: the services block ending with "Museums, art galleries, and botanical and zoological gardens" has no subtotal line on this image, and the table clearly continues onto the next page. No footnote texts are printed within the crop, although footnote markers 1 (in the caption, excluded) and 2 (on the stub heading "Industrial group") are present; the footnote definitions must appear on another page. Row structure: "Mining" and "Transportation, communication, and other utilities" are indented subtotal lines for the blocks above them. The second block (Construction through U.S. Postal Service) is printed without a subtotal line. "U.S. Postal Service" is rendered in the scan with the periods very faint, appearing roughly as "U S Postal Service"; the scan likewise thins the dots on lowercase i's throughout the table, so I have transcribed the conventional printed form with periods. Arithmetic verification: every data row's components sum exactly to its printed row total (All C cases = CA+CB+CC+CD+CE+CG+CP; All R cases = RC+RM+RD; All cases = All C + All R + UD + AC + UC), and both subtotal rows ("Mining" and "Transportation, communication, and other utilities") equal the sum of their member rows in all 16 numeric columns. No misprints detected. The value 30 in the "Health services" row sits under CG (8(g) charges), with CC=10, CD=0, CE=0, CP=0; this placement is confirmed by the row's internal sum.
p. 160. This is the final page of a table continued from earlier pages: the industrial groups listed above "Social services" are not in this crop, and the "Services" and "Total, all industrial groups" lines are subtotal/total lines whose component rows are mostly on the preceding pages. The "Services" and "Public administration" row labels are indented relative to the two detail rows above them, and are set off by horizontal rules. Column headings: the three right-hand columns carry a two-part heading (spelled-out name over the code letters UD / AC / UC), so the heading block has three printed levels; "All cases" and the C/R column codes span the lower levels and are repeated accordingly. In the heading cell for column "CD" there is a small stray ink mark to the right of the letters; I read it as a scanning speck, not a footnote marker. Footnote marker 2 is attached to the stub heading "Industrial group"; footnote marker 1 is attached to the caption year (caption omitted per instructions). Footnote 2 is printed with a raised/indistinct punctuation mark after "Source" (reads as "Source·") and "D C.," for "D.C."; transcribed with conventional punctuation. All printed row and column totals are internally consistent (components sum to the printed totals in every row), which supports the digit readings.
