Crop is clipped at the bottom: only the first footnote line is present and even that line has its lower half cut away, so its wording is my best reading of the top half of the letterforms and should be re-checked against the full page. Footnotes for the markers used in the body (the raised 2 on \"Unfair labor practice cases\", the raised 3 on \"Representation cases\", and the raised symbol on the five \"Pending October 1, 1988\" Total values) are not visible on this crop at all - they fall below the cut. Marker uncertainty: the raised glyph attached to each \"Pending October 1, 1988\" value in the Total column (21,696 / 18,769 / 2,668 / 56 / 19 / 184) is a small raised dot-or-star; I read it as an asterisk and wrote it as ^*, but it could be a raised numeral. The raised glyphs on the two section headings \"Unfair labor practice cases\" and \"Representation cases\" are blurred and render almost identically; I transcribed them as ^2 and ^3 on the assumption they run in sequence after the caption's footnote 1, but I could not resolve either character with certainty. Table has 8 columns: stub, Total, and six \"Identification of filing party\" columns. The stub heading cell is blank in the original; \"Total\" is a tall single heading spanning both heading levels and is repeated in both. In the \"Union-shop deauthorization cases\" panel every cell except Total and Individuals is a printed em-dash rule, transcribed as \"\" per instructions. Arithmetic cross-checks all pass as printed: in every one of the 30 data rows the Total equals the sum of the six filing-party columns, and for each of the five row types the five case-type panels sum exactly to the \"All cases\" panel. No suspected misprints.
