Reader’s notes

p. 229. Seven data columns plus the stub; the stub column has no printed heading, and "Objections filed", "Objections withdrawn" and "Objections ruled upon" are tall single headings spanning both heading levels, so they are repeated in both rows. Two percent cells have a decimal point that did not survive the scan and read as a gap: "RC cases" / Overruled-Percent prints as "74 2" and "Consent elections" / Overruled-Percent prints as "66 7". Both are transcribed with the decimal point (74.2, 66.7); the arithmetic agrees (276/372 = 74.2; 2/3 = 66.7). Footnote 2 is transcribed as printed: the periods after "withdrawn" and at the end of the sentence are not visible in the scan, so the sentences run together there. Footnote 1's marker is attached to the year in the caption, which is excluded per instructions. All column sums are internally consistent (e.g. 402+12+36 = 450; 3+328+2+112+5 = 450; 2+214+2+90+3 = 311), so no suspected misprints in the body.
