Reader’s notes

p. 222. 17 columns: stub plus eight case-type panels (All C, CA, CB, CC, CD, CE, CG, CP), each with a Number and a "Percent of cases closed" column. The stub heading "Stage of disposition" spans both heading levels. Decimal points: the scan drops or fades the decimal point in many percent cells, which print as e.g. "86 1", "100 0", "5 9", "17 8", "0 0", "0 9", "0 5", "1 9", "0 7", "78 4", "14 5". Every such cell is a one-decimal percentage in a column where the point is clearly visible in neighbouring rows, so I have transcribed them with the decimal point (86.1, 100.0, 5.9, etc.). No other interpretation is arithmetically possible. The number columns were checked against their printed totals and all eight sum exactly (All C 30,090; CA 21,156; CB 7,436; CC 958; CD 236; CE 32; CG 37; CP 235), which corroborates the digit readings. No misprints detected. In the row "After Board order adopting administrative law judge's decision in absence of exceptions" there is a small stray mark just above and left of the CG Number cell ("0"). It is a scan speck, not a footnote marker, and is not transcribed. The footnote marker 1 appears on the caption ("Fiscal Year 1988^1"), which is excluded per instructions; the footnote text itself is retained.
