Scattered speckles in the scan sit next to a few digits and were read as noise, not characters: Iowa "Total" won by unions (3), Kansas "AFL-CIO unions" won by unions (1), North Dakota "Teamsters" valid votes (0), Nebraska "Eligible employees in units choosing representation" (0). Arithmetic cross-checks all pass, which supports the column assignments: in every row AFL-CIO + Teamsters + other national + other local equals the adjacent "Total" (both for elections won and for valid union votes); total elections = elections won + elections with no representative; valid union votes + no-union votes = total valid votes cast; and each division subtotal equals the sum of its member states in every column. No printed value appears misprinted.

The crop is a continuation page: it begins mid-table with the South Atlantic division's states (earlier divisions are on the preceding page) and is cut off at the bottom after "Utah" — the Mountain division subtotal and the remaining divisions/states are not on this image. The stub heading carries footnote marker 1 ("Division and State^1"), but no footnote text is printed within the crop, so `footnotes` is empty. Scan/typography notes: the row label for Mississippi is degraded in the scan (the middle letters read like "Misaissippi"); it is transcribed as "Mississippi". The Oklahoma "Total valid votes cast" cell has a stray tick mark before the digits ('998); read as 998, not a footnote marker. Every subtotal and the grand total cross-check exactly against the printed component rows and across the vote columns (e.g. Pacific = Washington+Oregon+California+Alaska+Hawaii+Guam in all 16 value columns; union votes + no-union votes = total valid votes cast in every row).
