p. 229. 12 columns: stub plus "Total elections" plus five two-column groups (Number/Percent). "Total elections" is a tall single heading spanning both heading levels and is repeated in both. Doubtful cell: "In RD cases" / "Total elections" reads as 727 in the scan, but that digit pair is ambiguous at this resolution and the arithmetic points to 772 instead: 3,257 + 168 + 772 = 4,197 (the printed all-elections total), while 727 would make the column fall 45 short; the printed percentages also fit 772 (44/772 = 5.7, 19/772 = 2.5, 1/772 = 0.1, 45/772 = 5.8, 20/772 = 2.6), not 727. Transcribed as it appears; treat as either a misprint or a scan-level misread. Four percent cells print with a decimal point that has dropped out of the scan, showing as a gap: "In RD cases" / Total objections Percent ("5 8"), "Stipulated elections" / Objections only Percent ("8 9"), "Stipulated elections" / Objections and challenges Percent ("0 7"), and "Regional Director-directed elections" / Objections only Percent ("8 0"). They are written here as 5.8, 8.9, 0.7 and 8.0; every other value in those columns carries one decimal place, and each reading is confirmed by the underlying counts (45/772, 305/3,425, 23/3,425, 53/666). In the "Expedited elections" row every Percent cell holds an em-dash rule, transcribed as "". All counts in that row are a printed 0. The row label "By type of election:" carries a stray ink mark between "By" and "type" in the scan; it is not a footnote marker and is omitted. All other columns cross-foot exactly: both panels of rows sum to the all-elections line in every Number column, and Objections only + Objections and challenges = Total objections, Challenges only + Objections and challenges = Total challenges, in every row.
