Reader’s notes

p. 222. Three printed columns, one heading level. The four major method rows (Agreement of the parties, Compliance with Board decision, Withdrawal, Dismissal) are each followed by indented stage rows; the indentation is not carried into the labels. Three row labels wrap onto two printed lines ("After opening of 10(k) hearing, before issuance of Board decision and determination of dispute", appearing three times) and are joined into one row each. Doubtful cells: in the last body row ("By Board decision and determination of dispute") the Number of cases glyph is blotted and reads as either 5 or 3; I transcribe 5 because the printed 1.7 percent matches 5/288 (1.74) and 3/288 would be 1.0. In the Withdrawal section row "After opening of 10(k) hearing, before issuance ..." there is a small stray ink mark just left of 2.1 in the Percent column; I read it as a speck, not a footnote marker or digit. Arithmetic as printed is internally consistent: 136 + 1 + 113 + 38 = 288, and the section subtotals equal their stage rows (95+36+5=136; 97+10+6+0=113; 26+7+0+5=38). Nothing was computed or corrected. The caption's superscript 1 belongs to the title, which is excluded per instructions, but its footnote text is retained.
