Reader’s notes

p. 285. Two printed columns: the stub ("Stage") and "Median days". The outline markers (I, II, A, B, C and 1-5) appear without trailing periods in this scan; they may be faded periods in the original, and they are transcribed as seen. Doubtful cell: "Regional Director's decision issued" under "3 Close of hearing to—", Median days column — the second digit is struck through by a scanning artifact; it reads most plausibly as 22, but 27 cannot be fully excluded. Row label "1 Filing of petition of notice of hearing issued" is printed that way (reads as a likely misprint for "to notice of hearing issued"); transcribed as printed. Rows 15-16 and 18-19 are indented continuation lines belonging to the "3 Close of hearing to—" and "4 Filing of petition to—" headings respectively; their labels are kept as printed without the parent text.
