p. 254. Nine columns: stub plus four Number/Percent-by-type pairs. The second heading level reads "Num- ber" (hyphen break), joined to "Number". The spanner over columns 5-6 is typeset awkwardly in this scan, with "No" set high over column 6 and "union" sitting at the left of column 5; it is the single wrapped heading "No union chosen" spanning both columns. Decimal points: in this 1-bit scan the decimal point in every percentage is faint to invisible, so the cells image as "100 0", "27 0", "28 9", etc. They are transcribed with the decimal point ("100.0", "27.0", "28.9") since the column is percent-to-one-decimal throughout; no digits were altered. Two doubtful cells, both in the last column ("Outcome of original election reversed - Percent by type"): - Row "All representation elections": read as 40.8. Every other row in this column is the row's reversed count over its own rerun total (23/45 = 51.1, 1/4 = 25.0, 5/14 = 35.7, 10/20 = 50.0, 1/5 = 20.0), which for this row would give 29/63 = 46.0. The printed glyphs read 40.8 on two passes and are transcribed as seen; 46.0 is the plausible alternative if the scan has degraded the digits. - Row "Stipulated elections": read as 40.9, where 18/36 = 50.0 would be expected on the same basis. Transcribed as seen; 50.0 is the plausible alternative. All other percentages in the table are arithmetically consistent with their counts, and every Number row sums correctly (certified + no union = total; 45+4+14 = 63; 2+36+0+20+5 = 63; 23+1+5 = 29; 0+18+0+10+1 = 29). Em-dash rules (no value) are rendered "": the "Outcome ... Percent by type" cell of "Consent elections", and all four percent cells of "Expedited elections". "Regional Director-directed elections" is printed on two lines with wide letter-spacing on the first line; joined into one label. The crop cuts off at the bottom of footnote 1 - its last word ("definitions.") is clipped but legible. Footnote 2, referenced by the "Total rerun elections" heading, is not visible in this crop.
