The crop is a continuation page ("—Continued"): it begins mid-table with Delaware (the South Atlantic division) and is cut off at the bottom — the Utah row is the last one shown and its type is clipped by the lower edge of the image, though all of its figures are legible. The Mountain division continues (Nevada, division subtotal, etc.) past the crop, so there is no final total row and no footnote text here. Indented rows (Mountain, Pacific, Outlying Areas, Total, all States and areas) are division/area subtotals printed between horizontal rules; they carry values and are transcribed as ordinary rows. Arithmetic checks (performed only to validate the reading, nothing was altered): every one of the 16 numeric columns of the Pacific subtotal equals the sum of Washington through Guam, and every column of the Outlying Areas subtotal equals Puerto Rico plus Virgin Islands, so column alignment in those blocks is confirmed. Doubtful cells: in the Hawaii row, "Total votes for no union" has a small stray ink mark just left of the figure; I read the value as 118 with no leading digit. The Guam row's large eligible/valid-vote figures (1,701 and 1,543) against only 3 elections look anomalous but are clearly printed and are consistent with the Pacific subtotal, so they are transcribed as printed. In the footnote, the periods in "U.S." and the terminal period are faint/broken in the scan; they are rendered here in their conventional form.
