The crop is cut off after the "Manufacturing" subtotal line: the nonmanufacturing portion of Table 5 and the footnote texts for markers 1 (on the caption) and 2 (on "Industrial group") are not on this image, so `footnotes` is empty. Doubtful cells: in "Food and kindred products", the UC cell carries a small ink speck above the first digit; it reads 17 and the row and column arithmetic both confirm 17. In "Rubber and miscellaneous plastic products" there is a small stray dash to the left of the UC value; the value itself is 0. All row sums (CA+CB+CC+CD+CE+CG+CP = All C cases; RC+RM+RD = All R cases; All C + All R + UD + AC + UC = All cases) and all column sums against the "Manufacturing" line check out exactly as transcribed; no misprints detected.

Hence the empty footnote list; the caption's superscript 1 and the stub's superscript 2 markers are printed here but their texts are not. Suspected misprint: "Legal services" shows All cases = 113, but the printed components add to 112 (All C 103 + All R 9, with UD, AC and UC all 0); the C breakdown itself is internally consistent (75 + 28 = 103). This crop is the tail of a continued table (caption reads "—Continued"), so the body begins mid-list: "Social services" and "Miscellaneous services" are the last two detail lines of the "Services" division, followed by the "Services" subtotal, the "Public administration" line and the grand total. The earlier industrial groups are on the preceding page.
