Many cells carry a printed dash rule (——) rather than a figure; these are transcribed as "". In the first row, "10(k) notices of hearings issued", every type-of-case cell except "Jurisdictional disputes" (75) is a dash rule; the dash under the last column ("Other C combinations") is faint and may simply be blank — either way the cell is empty. Column assignment was checked against the printed totals and is internally consistent: "Hearings completed, total", "Decisions by administrative law judges, total" and "Decisions and orders by the Board, total" each equal the sum of their indented component rows in every column. The row labels are indented on the page (component rows under each total, and the three unnumbered section lines "Upon consent of parties", "Adopting administrative law judges' decisions (no exceptions filed)" and "Contested" which carry no figures); indentation is not preserved in the stub text, so the duplicate labels "Initial ULP decisions", "Backpay decisions" and "Supplemental decisions" recur under different sections. The label "Adopting administrative law judges' decisions (no exceptions filed)" wraps onto two printed lines and is joined here. Note that the "Cases in which formal actions taken" figure (78) exceeds the "Total formal actions taken" figure (75) in the 10(k) row; transcribed as printed. The stray tick marks in the right and left margins are page artifacts, not footnote markers.
