Reader’s notes

p. 247. Two-column table: stub "Stage" and a single data column "Median days". Handwritten annotation: a pen arrow/stroke has been drawn by a previous reader over the right-hand column next to rows I.A.3 and I.A.4, partly touching the printed figures. The underlying print still reads 118 (I.A.3, "Close of hearing to issuance of administrative law judge's decision") and 296 (I.A.4, "Administrative law judge's decision to issuance of Board decision"); these two cells are the least certain in the grid, though both are legible beneath the ink. Row II.A.1 is printed as "Filing of petition of notice of hearing issued"; "of" before "notice" appears to be a misprint for "to" (compare II.A.4 "Filing of petition to—"), but it is transcribed as printed. The outline markers (I, II, A, B, C, 1-5) are printed without visible periods in this scan; any periods, if present, are lost to the scan quality. Indentation of sub-items is not represented in the grid, only in the label text. The scan shows the common dotless-i degradation ("Filing", "issuance"), which does not affect the readings above.
