p. 217. Decimal points in the percent columns are very faint in this scan (printed as e.g. \"71 1\"); they are transcribed as decimals (71.1), consistent with the arithmetic. Teamsters row, \"Number of polls / Resulting in continued authorization / Percent of total\" reads as 25.5 in the scan, but 2 of 8 polls is 25.0 (the parallel \"Other national unions\" row prints 25.0 for 1 of 4); this is either a misprint in the original or a degraded final digit — transcribed as read. AFL-CIO row, \"Total eligible\" column: the figure 3,103 is followed by a small stray ink speck, read as a scan artifact and not a footnote marker. Last column heading prints as \"Percent ot total eligible\" in the scan; the broken letter is read as \"of\" (matching the identical heading two columns to its left). All column sums of the four affiliation rows agree with the printed Total row, and every printed percentage except the Teamsters cell noted above matches its computed value.
