Reader’s notes
p. 209. Eleven columns: the stub plus five two-column case-type panels (All R, RC, RM, RD, UD), each with "Number of cases" and "Percent of cases closed". These are repeated headings over one table, not side-by-side panels of separate tables, so no panel stacking was needed. Decimal points: in every percent cell the decimal point has dropped out of this 1-bit scan, so the values image as "100 0", "32 5", "24 8", etc. I have transcribed them with the decimal point ("100.0", "32.5", "24.8") because the headings are one-decimal percentages and each panel's five stage percentages sum to exactly 100.0 on that reading. No digits were altered. Arithmetic check (not a correction, just a confidence check): in all five panels the five stage rows sum exactly to the printed "Total number of cases closed" (7,859; 5,389; 651; 1,819; 264) and the percentages sum to 100.0. No misprints detected. The footnote marker 1 appears on the caption ("Fiscal Year 1984 1"), which is excluded per instructions; the footnote text itself is retained. The printed footnote line has no terminal period. Row labels image with dotless i's ("ıssuance", "hearıng") — a scanner artifact of this typeface, transcribed as the normal words. Nothing appears cut off by the crop.
