  1. 1 See Glossary for definitions of terms.
  2. 2 See table 11E for rerun elections held after objections were sustained. In 2 elections in which objections were sustained, the cases were subsequently withdrawn. Therefore, in these cases no rerun elections were conducted.

37 of 37 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.

Reader’s notes

p. 207. Eight columns: stub plus two spanner groups (Overruled, Sustained^2), each split into Number and Percent of total ruled upon. The stub has no printed heading (only a stray ink mark at the top left of the stub box).\n\nThis 1-bit scan systematically drops small periods: the decimal points in the percent columns and the sentence periods in the footnotes do not render (the image shows e.g. \"81 3\", \"100 0\", \"terms\" with no stop). I have transcribed the percent cells with the decimal point restored (81.3, 18.7, 80.2, 19.8, 93.8, 6.2, 84.2, 15.8, 100.0, 0.0, 82.1, 17.9, 82.3, 17.7, 44.4, 55.6) and likewise restored the footnote sentence periods; every restored percent is confirmed by the printed counts (e.g. 274/337 = 81.3, 4/9 = 44.4).\n\nThe \"Expedited elections\" row prints 0 in Objections filed, withdrawn, ruled upon and Overruled-Number, 0 in Sustained-Number, and leaves both Percent cells blank; those are given as \"\".\n\nAll printed totals check out: by type of case and by type of election each sum to the \"All representation elections\" line in every numeric column, and filed minus withdrawn equals ruled upon in every row."
