p. 329. Six printed columns: an unlabeled stub, a tall "Total" column (spanning all three heading levels, set off by its own column rules and not under the "Number of cases" spanner), and four columns under "Number of cases" > "Identification of petitioner" (Employer, Union, Courts, State boards). The stub carries no printed heading, so cell 0 of each heading level is empty. The heading "Employ- er" is hyphenated across two printed lines and is joined here as "Employer"; "State boards" wraps onto two lines. This scan loses small dots: the i in "Pending" prints dotless, and the period after "Sept" in the last row label and the closing period of the footnote are not visible on the image. I transcribed those as they appear (no period); the source almost certainly prints "Pending Sept. 30, 1982" and "...definitions of terms." All other characters are clear and no cell is doubtful. The footnote marker 1 appears on the caption line ("Fiscal Year 1982 1"), which is excluded per instructions; no marker is attached to any row label, heading or value inside the grid.
