p. 237. 12 columns; the stub has no printed heading, so cell 0 of both heading levels is empty. The headings "Total proceedings", "Total dispositions" and "Pending in district court Sept 30, 1981" are tall single headings spanning both levels and are repeated in each.\n\nThe "Under Sec. 10(e) Total" row prints a raised 1 immediately before the 8 in the "Total proceedings" column; transcribed as 8^1.\n\nThe period after "Sec" in the three "Under Sec. 10(e)/10(j)/10(l) Total" labels is not clearly resolved in this 1-bit scan, though the word spacing is consistent with one; it is transcribed as "Sec.".\n\nArithmetic as printed (nothing corrected): every one of the 11 numeric columns in both the 10(j) and 10(l) blocks sums across its detail rows to the printed block total, which is the main check I used for column assignment. Two internal inconsistencies remain in the 10(j) block and are transcribed as printed: (a) row 8(a)(1)(5) shows Total dispositions 6 while its disposition components (Granted 4, Denied 1, Settled 0, Withdrawn 0, Dismissed 0) sum to 5, and its Total proceedings 7 is less than Total dispositions 6 + Inactive 1 + Pending Sept 30 1 = 8; (b) the same off-by-one propagates to the "Under Sec. 10(j) Total" row, where Total dispositions 49 exceeds the component sum 48 and Total proceedings 58 is less than 49 + 1 + 9 = 59. The 10(e) and 10(l) blocks are internally consistent.\n\nAmbiguous cells I examined closely: the "Inactive" column for rows 8(a)(1)(5) and 8(a)(1)(3)(4). Read as 1 and 0 respectively, which makes the Inactive column sum to the printed block total of 1.\n\nThe row labels use the scan's broken-parenthesis forms (e.g. "8(a)X1X3)"); they are normalized to the intended "8(a)(1)(3)" style. Leader dots after labels dropped. The caption and page furniture are omitted as instructed.
